st century global world. East Bay Innovation Academy (EBIA) is proud to be a free public charter school bringing project-based curriculum, social emotional emphasis, design thinking, and blended learning to students in Oakland, California.
You will
- Analyze, using data to help identify and group students who need additional supports to mitigate learning loss, as well as designing systems and tools to measure effectiveness of support
- Design, creating and delivering curriculum, schedules, and supports to address student needs
- Collaborate, partnering with the classroom teachers, education specialists, instructional aides, and families to support students
- Engage, taking a specific and deep interest in each students’ challenges and success
- Grow, expanding your practice with the support of administration and colleagues
You have
- A teaching credential, or are working towards one
- Experience with the RtI model of support
- Proven ability to teach math or literacy
- Experience engaging students with insightful and innovative learning strategies and supports
- A commitment to equity and a belief that diversity is essential
- An entrepreneurial spirit, ready to create and iterate, to adopt new technologies and to blaze trails
You might also have
- Experience with project based learning, social-emotional learning, and/or blended learning
- Knowledge of another language
- A Masters degree
This is a temporary, full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. We are open to remote-worker who are experienced with engaging students via Zoom.We are looking for results oriented people who are excited to give concentrated, strategic support to students in order to make a lasting difference in their lives by helping bridge the learning loss gap.
